Description

A fine pair of Gothic Chippendale Side Chairs of good colour and patina with shaped, pierced and carved splats forming three tiers with half quatrefoils to the centres. The shape flows out onto the top rails and finishes with a carved rose to the shoulders. The cabriole legs are carved with Acanthus leaf and finish with a wonderfully executed claw & ball foot to the base.
