Pair of Antique Thames Valley Windsor Armchairs

A wonderful pair of English antique Thames Valley Windsor armchairs that are both so original. One is stamped by the maker J.Mead of High Wycombe Buckinghamshire and made around 1840. They are both in the original finish and feature pierced back splats, tapering bobbin turned arm supports, this is an unusual pattern and they have well turned legs that are joined by stretchers. Lovely to find a pair, they are both in excellent, clean and strong condition, perfect to use as carver dining chairs.
