Pair of Bergere Ball and Claw Armchairs

1900 - 1920
Description

We are offering this pair of Bergere armchairs made around 1900.

The condition of the chairs is very good and there are no breaks in the cane work. The mahogany frames with the ball and claw feet are also in good condition.

Accompanying the chairs are loose feather and down cushions in aqua velvet covers. These are in fair condition and a very attractive colour. A couple of the covers need to be sewn up .

Also available (for £200) is the settee that belongs with this pair of chairs. However we have been led to believe that it is the chairs that are most wanted so we have decided to split the group. The settee and its cushions are also in the same good condition.
