Description

This is an elegant Regency period convex mirror with eagle pediment mount and scrolling acanthus details. The mirror has is original water gilt finish with a lovely antique patina and a reeded solid ebony inner mount around the original convex mercury plate. The mirror is in excellent original condition with some really nice antique ageing to the mirror glass.

The mirror has very nice proportions, slightly smaller than the average for this type of mirror at 86 cms in height overall and 46 cms in diameter.
