Stunning antique French gilt Louis Philippe mirror.

It dates from around 1860.

It has its beautiful gilt frame (real gold leaf) in a subtle leaf design and lovely original mercury glass that gives a reflection like no other and is so hard to find these days. The glass has no scratches, just foxing in one place (see photo).

It also has its original pine backboards.

It would look beautiful as an overmantel mirror above a fireplace or just hanging alone on a wall.
