Description

A 17thC (circa 1680) Spanish hall chair with original embossed leather back and seat (both in good order). This is a remarkable survivor in original condition with only one old repair to the bottom of one back leg. The frame is of walnut which has taken on a good patination. The oversize studs are original and intact as are the top brass finials. There is evidence of old woodworm which is expected in a chair of this age and which has been treated as a precaution.
