Description

Lovely antique victorian chippendale mahogany shield back side or desk chair and dating from aorund 1880. It has a lovely reeded shield back with vase shaped central splat with wheatsheaf design and outsplayed armrests on shaped and reeded supports with a stuff over seat standing on lovely carved cabriole legs with a claw and ball foot.

In very good condition with a lovely deep colour and patination to the mahogany oozing the charm and character of the chippendale period.

Measures: 38" high X seat height 18" X 20" deep X 21" wide
