Exceptional, large pair of 18th Century Italian Rococo mirrors with gilt carved wood. Wonderfully aged foxed glass.
The mirror frames are intricately carved with reeded and fluted patterns. Displaying large impressive crowns of detailed, carved acanthus leaves, scrolls and foliate. The mirrors are also flanked by carved swag tails of fox glove type bell flowers.
We have gently stripped these back in our workshop, to reveal original beautiful gilding.
