An exceptionally good quality French c19th adjustable armchair with generous proportions and is extremely comfortable, whether in the standard setting or in the numerous reclined settings, not forgetting the additional foot support too.
Certainly appears to be the original tapestry upholstery and finished with brass studs. The seat springs are absolutely fine and in good condition.
There are a few small areas of wear to the original tapestry, but nothing major. The rear of the chair has lost its fabric, so it just has a lining fabric.
The chair is reclined by pressing the original blue glass knob and then leaning back to the preferred level. The foot rest pulls out from underneath easily.
Great quality chair an d in good original condition. Standing on its original castors too.
