Description

Circa 1770, George III mahogany library chair. The buttoned back, arms and seat all recently reupholstered in pleated, deep button, old English smoke leather with a mixture of piping and close brass studding. On slightly outswept rear legs, chamfered and reeded front legs on brass castors, all united by unusual chamfered stretchers.
