65cm Sunburst Mirror in Gilt Metal

1920 - 1940
Description

Very decorative and great size gilt toleware Spanish sunburst mirror in good condition.

Hand beaten tin to form the sunburst leaves surrounding the frame.

This mirror has had a new mirror plate fitted, so the mirror glass itself is flawless.

Great proportions to this sunburst mirror, suitable to free hang as shown here, but also a good size to hang over a console table for example.

Very easy to hang and being a lightweight mirror, a secure picture hook will be fine, but a screw fitting is always preferable.

Measuring:

25 1/2 inches or 65 cm outside diameter

15 3/4 inches or 40 cm mirror diameter

1 1/2 inches or 4 cm depth
