Description

A 19thC gilded circular convex wall mirror. In the Regency style but probably William IV period the glass being thicker than thin Georgian glass. 59 cm in diameter with a deep profiled wooden frame gesso covered and with original gilding. Typical ball decoration. Simple reeded ebonised slip surrounding the original glass. Overall in excellent condition with only a small amount of gilding missing from one of the decorative balls. Wood back and good brass hanging hooks.
