Georgian Welsh Primitive Antique Chair in Paint

This is a lovely, late 18th century Welsh country armchair, a primitive design, made is elm and ash woods and still in the original worn paint finish. In super condition with no later replacement parts so entirely original. This Georgian antique country armchair has a thick slab shaped seat with wonderful shaped arm rails and a hoop, spindle back rest which is also shaped. A very comfortable chair to sit in and all very sturdy and strong. Welsh and dating from around 1790.
