Tom Scott Antiques has dated this piece to the 19th Century.

Known as a "margin" frame mirror due to the main mirror plate being surrounded with four further mirror plates which are set at an angle which give a lovely effect and looks especially good if you happen to be hanging this mirror somewhere that you will see it from all angles.

This is also a large example at 66'' total height, so it will hang well as an overmantle mirror, but will also free hang well as a stand alone feature mirror, or you may be planning to use it as a dressing mirror.

Great quality and great condition, although I haven't added a photo of it, the rear of the mirror retails its original boards too.
Measuring:
66” or 168cm high
38” or 97cm wide
4” or 10cm deep ( up at the cartouche )
