A Late Victorian Leather Armchair

19th century
Description

A good late Victorian leather armchair, the padded back with sixteen buttons to generous padded arms with studded downswept fronts, to a deep seat over mahogany bun feet with concealed castors and brass castors to the rear.

English circa 1880.

Condition: Excellent, the chair is solid and robust, the leather is in good condition and nicely worn but free from scuffs, and the casters all turn. The chair is extremely comfortable to sit in. Seat depth 64 cm (25”)
