Description

A beautifully proportioned Mahogany armchair by renowned makers Gillows. The chair raised on reeded front legs with original brass cup castors, having scrolled arms and a shapely back. Retaining the original horse hair stuffing, upholstered in hessian with a buttoned back and ready for a new top coat. Signed to the underside by William Moon who is recorded in the Gillows directory. English, Circa 1825.
