Tom Scott Antiques has dated this piece to the 19th Century.
The set has been painted in a French grey tone and aged slightly so you have a little of the base gilding coming through and they have all been re upholstered in a typical off white linen and finished with a double pipe edging.
The sofa is a lovely size if you were planning to use it in a living room, but also would work very well in a bedroom for example too.
