Description

A fine set of twelve (four carvers and eight standard), Napoleon III mid 19th century dining chairs, the seats and backs upholstered in old red leather which is nicely weathered and faded, but not torn or punctured and fully usable. This stylish and comfortable large set of chairs are in good, sound "Country House Condition", meaning they have come straight out of a large country estate and have not been restored in any way. They are however fully usable with good joints and no significant damage. As can be seen from the photographs, they have all been faded to some extent by the sun which could be reversed by re-polishing.

Carvers are 91.5 cms high by 56 cms wide by 48.5 deep.

Seats are 43.5 high on both carvers and standards.
