This true set comprises two armchairs and four side chairs. The chairs feature six spindles and a central fiddle back splat to the inside of a single piece oval shaped ash moulded back rail, supported by two further supporting spindles at the back of the chair, for added strength.
The design of the side chairs is reflected in the armchairs, with the addition of shaped arms on shaped supports. This style of chair first originated in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, England. The chairs feature a stunning rich colour with fabulous grain configuration visible on the seats, having been professionally French polished by hand in our workshop. These chairs boast the classic country styling; they would be at home in either a traditional or contemporary setting and they consume very little space.

Condition Report:
These fiddle back dining chairs are in excellent condition, with nominal old use marks to the leading edges (e.g. seats, back and legs) but nothing significant considering the age of them. The chairs have been glued and have been professionally French polished by hand, to a professional standard, in our workshop. The chairs therefore feature a stunning rich colour with fabulous grain configuration visible on the seats. The chair joints have been re-glued; therefore, they are all solid in joint. This is a true set (not matched together from other sets. There are no breaks to the backs or legs of the chairs. The chairs sit firm on the ground and do not wobble. They are well constructed, solid in joint and ready to use.
