A fine pair of 18th century Mahogany Hepplewhite Armchairs of the most superb colour and patina. The delicately carved wheat sheaf along with the well shaped splat and arcading to the base help to lift these chairs above the average examples. It is worth noting the amount of chamfer to the back of the chair splat that has been perfectly executed by the craftsman, it was often used at this period to lighten the look of the chair.
