Description

A fine wall hanging mirror consisting of a rectangular glass plate surrounded by a plain slip, an intricately moulded frieze, a further plain concave mould, and with applied C-scrolls to the outer frame, all surmounted by an impressive cresting. It retains its original water-gilded finish with a glowing colour and a natural lustre shine. English, c1900 — c1925.
