Description

A wonderful harlequin (matched) set of twelve early 19th century ash and fruitwood Lancashire spindleback chairs. Structurally sound and with a good patina, it is difficult to get a long set, so closely matched. One of the carvers has had a repair to a small section of the rush seat but apart from that the condition is very good. A rare find and ready to use and enjoy. Some of the chairs have had a history of woodworm but it's not recent and they have all been treated.

Measurements are for the singles. Seat Height - 45cm = 17 1/2 inches
