Each of the antique Oxford dining chairs is stamped by the maker, S.Hazell-Oxford. They are recorded in the history of chair making and some interesting family accounts of the Hazell family can be found in Bill Cotton's The English Regional Chair book. All six of these country antique dining chairs are in superb, strong condition, they are made in beech wood with solid single piece elm seats and they are all still in the origanl finish which is a wonderful colour. A fabulous, stamped set of Oxford scroll back dining chairs.
