Here we have a wonderful rare pair of French Caquetoire or conversation chairs c1880. As you can see the chairs have exceptional colour and patina. There are carved Walnut backs with central turned splat. The seat and shape of the chairs being typical of the Rennaisance period. There are shaped arms and well turned supports. The seat has a thumb moulded edge and undernaeth there are beautifully turned legs joined by an H stretcher. A super pair of chairs in great retail condition ready for your home. The dimensions are approx 42 inches high 24 wide and 20 deep.
