Gilt Louis Philippe Overmantle Mirror 99cm

Description

Lovely original French Louis Philippe period gilt mirror with figured frame and the base red gesso coming through.

The mirror plate is the original mercury glass which has aged beautifully and has just the right amount of foxing.

Great size mirror for an overmantle or console table mirror and as you can see, it hangs very well over this French bleached burr walnut commode ( priced separately ).
