Description
An Early 19th Century Oak and Elm Childs Windsor Chair. The chair with a hoop back, and arms, enclosing tapered spindles, the arm held by ringed and shaped supports. The well figured elm seat with slight dishing, raised on the four splayed ringed and shaped legs, the legs joined by tapered spindle stretchers. Date circa 1830. Height 27 1/2 inches, 70cm. Width 18 1/2 inches, 47cm. Depth 15 inches, 38cm. Dealers in fine antiques from the 18th century onwards, supplying both the trade and private customers worldwide. Shop currently open by appointment.
