A Pair of Leather Wing Armchairs

1920 - 1940
Description

A good pair of Georgian style wing armchairs of generous proportions upholstered in faded green leather buttoned to the back, seat and sides; the chairs of traditional design with serpentine tops and shaped wings, on square section fluted supports united by stretchers. English circa 1930.

Condition: Very good; the frames are solid and the seats have had the webbing redone. The leather is a pleasing pale green with wear commensurate with age but is in very good condition and the buttoning is good. Crucially, the chairs are very comfortable to sit in.
