Set of Six Regency Mahogany Antique Dining Chairs

Dating from around 1830 in the Regency / William IV period this set of early 19th Century antique dining chairs are made from mahogany. The set have carefully crafted carved back splats, stand on elegantly splayed double sabre legs and the drop in seats are currently upholstered in a floral fabric (with some minor staining) but could easily be reupholstered to ones own choice (we can arrange this if necessary).

This fine set of antique chairs shows signs of old repairs which in no way detract from its overall beauty it just adds to the charm and character. The Mahogany is a rich medium shade with a striking grain, good patina and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
