A top quality Regency period solid mahogany campaign writing slope with brass corners, and joint bands; matching inlay to the top. Concealed drawer with campaign handles to each side. Opens out to reveal a leather surface, pen and ink compartments. Lifting surfaces with compartments below, the larger with spring loaded panel concealing secret drawers. Includes working lock and key. C.1825. Superb condition. Measures 7.75" high. x 18" wide. x 10" deep.
