Tom Scott Antiques has dated this piece to the 1920s.
The gilt frame has aged gracefully and has a lovely mellow tone to it, cleaned and buffed.

This is a great mirror and really is very unusual at this size.
Would hang as a welcome alternative to a traditional overmantle mirror, but as you can see, I have shown the mirror hanging above a French chest of drawers so you could hang it as a console table mirror too for example. Or just hang it on its own!
