19th Century Very Attractive Set of 4 Solid Walnut Carved and Upholstered Dining Chairs in Very Good Condition.

19th century lovely set of 4 solid walnut dining chairs, beautifully carved with leaf and foliate decoration.

The arch topped back is very nicely upholstered, and surrounded by a carved frame.

The serpentine shaped seats are overstuffed, also have a carved frame, and stand on carved reeded legs.

Both back and seat are upholstered with a very nice neutral fabric, which will blend with any decor.

Size-34.75 inches high by 16 inches wide. Seat is 17.5 inches wide by 17 inches deep by 18.5 inches high.

A very sturdy and attractive set of chairs in a warm colour of walnut, with an attractive patina.

They are comfortable and elegant, and in very good condition.

Perfect for dining, card, or tea tables, or for use as occasional seating.

Declaration

Serpentine Antiques has dated this piece to the Victorian era.
