A pair of late 19th century painted Sheraton Revival elbow chairs in pale green, the shield shaped backs with pierced balloon splats with Prince of Wales feathers and festoons highlighted in red and gilding, the armrests with painted acanthus and reeded supports, over shaped seatrails painted and square tapering supports united with H stretchers, and with drop in seats newly reupholstered and recovered in grey linen. Seat dimensions: 20” wide x 18” deep (50x45 cm)
English circa 1890.
Condition: Excellent, the chairs are solid and the paint in good condition with very little wear.
