Description:
The chairs are constructed of solid walnut and include arched high-backs, supported by good quality down-swept moulded arms, which incorporate carved acanthus leaves to the shoulders and terminate with scroll ends. Upright scroll supports that display finely carved acanthus leaves at the base, secure the arms. The chairs feature bow-fronted seats, which are supported by inverted cabriole scroll legs, comprising further acanthus leaf carvings, united by a shaped central stretcher. The chairs have been newly upholstered, to a professional standard, in a pale gold structured cotton, incorporating a small gold bow pattern, finished with matching braiding. The sprung seats have sufficient depth to them to ensure they are extremely comfortable to sit on.

Condition Report:
These chairs are in excellent condition. Nominal old use marks to the leading edges of the solid walnut frames but nothing significant considering the age of these chairs. The chairs have been newly upholstered, to a professional standard, in a pale gold structured cotton, incorporating a small gold bow pattern, finished with matching braiding. Therefore the upholstery is in excellent, new, clean condition. The sprung seats have sufficient depth to them to ensure they are extremely comfortable to sit on. The solid walnut frames boast the original polish, which is why there is a lovely rich colour and patination to the timer. The sprung seats are firm but comfortable to sit on; they do not sag. The chairs sit firm on the ground and do not wobble. These chairs are well constructed, solid in joint and ready to use.
