They also have carved hairy paw feet. The cane work is in excellent original condition too & is double skinned. They have just been French polished & completely re-upholstered in a natural cotton fabric with plumply filled feather cushions. These chairs are a very nice model & the satin birch frames have that typical silky finish, with a lovely grain in the wood. They are also very comfortable.
