Description:
Here is a fine quality antique English Art Deco mahogany rectangular wall mirror, circa 1930, in excellent original condition. The item boasts a lovely elegant cloud design, with an arched top and bevelled edge to the glass. The mirror also features a reeded walnut base. The back of the mirror retains its original backboard, with a new metal hanging chain (for safety reasons). The mirror retains its original glass, which is in very good condition, with only very minimal signs of foxing.
The mirror is a good practical piece of furniture; its size, not being overly large or small, is such that it would be well suited in a wide variety of spaces, but tall enough to act as a full length dressing mirror. The mirror would look superb in several rooms from the hallway to the bedroom. The mirror would certainly grace any home and is a great investment, as it is extremely functional. This mirror is in excellent original condition. Nominal old use marks, but nothing significant considering the age of the item.
