C19th French Gilt Margin Frame Mirror with Bevelled Glass

Description

Fabulous 19th century French gilt "margin" frame mirror with very good original deep bevelled mirror to the centre and plain mirror plates to the margins.

Wonderful detail to the whole frame from the top centre figure of a moustached man and scrolled leaves, to the large leaves at all corners.

The mirror plates themselves are all original and all in good condition with very minor, if any foxing.

A very decorative mirror and well proportioned, so it hangs very well over a console table or a c19th marble top commode as shown.
