Large Antique French Gilt Louis XV Mirror C1880

Description

Stunning late 19th century French gilt Louis XV mirror with large ornate gesso crest and detail to the frame.

It dates from 1880.

It has its lovely original bevelled glass no scratches but with lots of foxing.

The original gilt (gold leaf) on gesso frame is in exceptionally good condition.

It would look fantastic as an overmantel mirror or hanging on a large wall.
