Regency Mirror with Verre Eglomise Panel

19th century
Description

Circa 1815, Regency mirror with a verre églomisé panel. The classic top has gilded balls beneath, flowers heads either side and to the front are 2 pilasters finishing with Ionic capitals. The painted verre églomisé panels depict a cottage in a rural scene, and the mirror retains its original bevelled edge plate. The base finishes with 2 blocks and a simple beading. The back has a receipt from an auction house, dated 1964 from 64 George St.
