An early Victorian antique upholstered armchair. Standing on quality, period walnut turned front legs, with the original antique brass castors. This Victorian armchair is stamped by the maker, J. Thorpe, on one of the back legs. Traditionally upholstered with all the innards intact, just requiring a new top fabric. A very comfortable, antique Victorian armchair, with a deep, generous seat. English. Circa: 1850.
