Description

Good clean set of 8 late 18th century Georgian Scottish mahogany dinign chairs. Set comprises of 6 single chairs and a matching pair of arm chairs. All have drop in seats upholstered in a good quality russet red material. The chairs have square tapered legs with under-stretchers all round, 2 thin bars to the back and a larger top panel. All are decorated with reed moulding. The chairs are all in good solid, firm condition and are basically all in very good condition except for a couple of very minor old repairs.

The chairs are a lovely colour with original finish with good patination and waxed finish.

SIZE; The single ones are 19" wide by 16 1/2" deep by 34" high overall

The Arm chairs are 20 1/2" wide by 18" deep by 34" high overall.
