A Superb Pair English Oak Library Armchairs

Description

A superb pair of 19th century solid English oak library armchairs. With beautifully carved scrolled arms and raised on bold turned front legs with original inset brass castors, both having buttoned backs with sprung seats and retaining the original horse hair inners. Strong and sturdy - ready for re-upholstery. Wonderful colour and patina to the show wood of which retains the original finish. English, Circa 1850.
