18th Century Mahogany Dressing Mirror

Description

Good clean 18th century George 3rd mahogany toilet or dressing mirror. Nice shape base with quarter round moulding to the top edge and original ogee bracket feet. The base with three drawers, all oak lined, the small two with original brass knobs, the centre drawer with original brass escution but added contempory brass swan neck handle. There is no lock to the central drawer.

Typical 18th century shaped mirror with cross grain moulded frame with gilt insert and shaped top.

The uprights with original brass finials and original turned wooden knob mirror fittings.

The whole piece is in good condition and is a nice colour with waxed finish.
