Walnut Cheval Mirror with Scalloped and Bevelled Glass

1900 - 1920
Description

Lovely quality and very decorative Edwardian walnut cheval dressing mirror with a fantastic scalloped and bevelled edge mirror glass.

The original mirror has just a little foxing to it, so it has that lovely sparkling effect and is clearly not a new piece of bright mirror glass.

The frame is in good condition, solid and sturdy. You can tilt the mirror to suit with the two drop handles on the sides.

Standing on a set of elegant carved feet and a double stretcher bar to brace.

Some fading to the rear of the mirror, most likely to have been caused by sunlight.

Great piece of very useful and decorative furniture.
