Early Georgian Fruitwood Side Chair, Circa 1750

Charming country chair with shaped cresting rail and heart shaped pierced back, over a solid elm seat on square legs with supporting stretchers. This chair combines a wonderful warm colour and patination with a mix of fine detail, naive craftsmanship and charm.
