Description

This is a fine rare pair of 18th century carved Giltwood mirrors in remarkably original condition and retaining their original mercury plates.

The pair are hand carved with masks to the base and super triple plume crests with leaf detail. We have included photos of the backs here which help illustrate the authenticity of these really early mirrors, circa 1740.

The pair are a good size measuring 74 cms by 40 cms wide.
