Group of four Italian solid wooden open armchairs, partially painted on the back panel(wood panel probably added later in substitution of leather). Pierced carved stretcher to the front, turned arm supports and slightly curly finials to the back. Their austere and essential design makes them an ideal complement for contemporary settings. Also we can easily see these chairs used as bed side tables.

Period: late 16th early 17th century, with later elements and repairs.
