Description

A fine Georgian III mahogany bow fronted three drawer dressing table mirror. The shield shaped mirror retaining the original plate glass set within a mahogany cross banded frame with boxwood edging and an ivory turned finial.The shaped mirror supports having applied turned ivory patrae and brass axe head fittings.The base having rosewood cross banding between boxwood line inlay. The three bow fronted drawers with mahogany linings and fine dovetail joints with turned ivory pulls and escutcheon and the whole raised on well carved ogee bracket feet. This beautiful dressing mirror is pristine original condition with no breaks or repairs. Dimensions:- Height…23’’/ 58.5cm. Width…18.5’’/ 44cm. Depth…8.5’’/ 21.5cm.
