Description

The original plate of this beautiful 19th Century mirror is surrounded by an oval gilded frame beautifully decorated with a border of fans and rosettes and deep inner slip. The outer rim has applied gilded fruit and foliage to the quarter points of the frame. The condition of this antique English mirror is good and the provenance is excellent, having been in a private collection for many years. The fact that this mirror can be hung in either landscape or portrait positions adds to its versatility.
