They stand on splayed back legs with tapering front legs and have a H stretcher for added stability. These elegant chairs have recently been upholstered in a pale pink velvet and the mahogany has aged to a mellow shade with a striking grain, good patina, are in very good condition and have been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
