Andros Antiques has dated this piece to the Edwardian era.
The chair bannisters are exquisitely carved with leaves, garlands and flowers, with the rich Mahogany setting off the Satinwood background of the marquetry panels superbly. The siderails and legs have line inlay to them along with harebell decoration to the faces of the legs, which themselves terminate in a very crisp spade toe.
The seats are upholstered in a sumptuous Mustard velvet, adding a very luxurious feel to the seat. Presented in superb condition.
